Goal

This document clarifies the situation with regards to UFS tuning in Solaris 11.x.

The UFS section was removed from the Solaris 11 Tunable Parameters Reference Manual because we considered that tuning UFS was deprecated in Solaris 11 as Oracle recommends using ZFS instead.

Unfortunately, the "Tunable Parameters Change History" section was not updated to reflect the change.
