Details

 IBM LTO7 - Release Support on SL3000 and SL8500.

Actions

IBM LTO_7 released 12/22/2015, read/write compatible with L6 media and read/only compatible with L5 drives.

IBM LTO_7 is supported with the following code releases:

   -SL3000 code at FRS_4.32

   -SL8500 code at FRS_8.51

   -ACSLS 8.4

   -SL8500 GA release 8.51 for LTO_7 support released 2/17/2016.

   -HP is not currently scheduled to release a native LTO_7 drive for StorageTek Libraries.
