Symptoms

When attempting to connect to the Times Ten data source from the OBIEE BI Administration Tool, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Connection Failed.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup the Times Ten connection as the Metadata Guide instructs.
2. Attempt to connect to the Times Ten data source using the BI Admin Tool, Import Metadata.
3. Connection fails.
