Goal

As described within <Document 1970810.1>, Oracle has recently adopted a self-provisioning model for previously licensed features and capacities for Acme Packet platforms.  Starting with the following platforms, Administrators will specify the capacity of the system via the system configuration process.

SCZ 7.2.0
ECZ 7.2.0
OS-E 3.7.0

For more details regarding this, the Administrator is advised to review the “Provisioning Entitlements” section of the ACLI Configuration Guide corresponding to each software version.

Administrators responsible for maintaining legacy deployments--releases earlier than those enumerated above--or that require optional Add-On license features may need to manually request new licenses from the Oracle License Codes team.

This document outlines the procedure to request both Permanent and Temporary licenses for an Oracle Acme Packet product.
