Solaris COMSTAR Qlt Driver LINK DOWN - LINK UP In Solaris 11.3 (Doc ID 2147664.1)

Symptoms

Since we upgraded 2 COMSTAR storage servers to Solaris 11.3 (SRU 7.5) from Solaris 11.2 (SRU 15.4),
we get random qlt "link down" errors on the servers.

We use QLE2562 HBAs.

The link remains down fora few seconds or minutes, on all ports at the same time,
at a logical level (from a FC switch point of view, the link is always up).

There is no sign that anything is wrong beforehand and the I/O load is not particularly higher than normal.

 

Changes

Upgrade to Solaris 11.3 SRU 7.5.0
