Goal
How to change & register the core count for ODA platform?
- ODA Lite (Single-Node Servers)
- ODA HA (Including all two-node server configurations)
- Legacy ODAs V1 through X5-2 are all HA (2-node) clusters.
NOTE:
Earlier ODA Bare Metal HA configurations required generating a core key generated using MOS, moving the key to the local server and then applying the core key and using the oakcli command
This is no longer the case. As of 18.x Bare Metal HA ODA versions configure the core count for each server using oakcli commands local to the ODA. (from the first ODA server).
