Symptoms

Getting error in Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) 11.1.2.4.200 when attempting to execute a Data Load Rule for a location in FDMEE. Error is:

 "java.lang.NullPointerException"

Then a pop-up error appears with messages: 

ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PRR, #1..."

If the user logs in as the ADMIN user, they don't experience the error. However, this user has broad access to HFM and FDMEE and ADMIN should not be required to run a data load. At the time of the error, his group had the following access in FDMEE Security:
