Goal

Is there any way to include the two (2) reserved cylinders in the usable space of a LUN?

A storage vendor that is presenting very large cylinder LUNs to a Solaris 10 systems.

Example: A 100GB LUN presented to our systems is 12/255/65535 (cylinder/head/sector) layout.
After the Solaris label is placed on the disk, the usable space is only around 80GB (10/255/65535)."

For example this disk in format :

shows as 102400MB in luxadm display:

Serial Num: 742b0f0000004fe0000000xxxxxx76c
Unformatted capacity: 102400.000 MBytes

but format says 79.69GB:

c0t6742B0F0000004FE0000000xxxxxx76Cd0: configured with capacity of 79.69GB
