SL150 - Data Protector Backups Using NDMP Do Not Work With IBM LTO7 Drives On SL150 (Doc ID 2246310.1)

SL150

Symptoms

Previously NDMP backups using HP 4048 library with HP LTO5 drive worked fine. Now NDMP backups using the new STK SL150 library with IBM LTO7 drives do not work.

Backups made without using NDMP directly from Data Protector and IBM LTO7 tape drives work fine.

The IBM LTO7 were replaced with HP LTO6. NDMP backup worked fine

The following error is produced in Data Protector logs....

DP server ..........................................OS Windows 2012 R2 standard
