Oracle Key Manager (OKM) - Failing to Issue Keys to Tape Drive Agents After Library Hardware Issues

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On occasion OKM attached tape drive agents will fail to request encryption keys when mounted with media through the backup application, this can generally occur after Tape Hardware issues or unexpected outages on the Backup Application Servers.
For example, the Netbackup application may report status code 84 or 85 (read / write) failures.
