Symptoms
in /var/adm/messages the following message exists:
Jul 19 16:54:19 <HOSTNAME> unix: [ID 672469 kern.info] SMBIOS not loaded (SMBIOS format is new and not yet supported)
or a similar message appears when prtdiag is run.
