Goal

BDA V4.12.0 and lower versions will throw a health check warning on the new replacement 8 TB drives - model HGST H7280B520SUN8.0T.

On such clusters the health check warnings can be ignored.

The following conditions must exist for the health check warnings to occur:

  1. The system must have 8TB high capacity disk drives with make/model HGST H7280B520SUN8.0T.
  2. The BDA servers must be running BDA V4.12 or lower.
