As of ODA Software bundle 12.2.1.2.0, there is no support for the EAEU 8TB drive pn:7352214.
However, for the Libre 8TB drive, pn 7334977, there is support, so nothing special needs to be done for 7334977, if they are running 12.2.1.2.0 or above.
This doc provides a workaround for using the EAEU 8TB drive pn 7352214, until there is an official ODA software release that has built-in support for this drive model.
Goal
If you need to order the 8TB 7200 RPM SAS-3 Disk Drive Assembly without Encryption (part number 7352214, model H7280B524SUN8.0T), you need to modify the validation_props.xml file, in order for the ODA to support that drive.
Again, there is support for the Libre 8TB drive, pn 7334977 in 12.2.1.2.0, so nothing special needs to be done for pn 7334977, if they are running 12.2.1.2.0 or above.
