Symptoms
FMD-8000-CV alerts (fru-monitor.fru-remove) appear upon first HOST start following SysFW 9.8.5 installation.
Check the SysFW version installed:
Sun System Firmware 9.8.5.a 2018/03/29 18:19
Solaris FMA will show alert FMD-8000-CV for a removed component similar to the following:

The fix for the issue documented in Doc ID 2391817.1 creates the informational alert. These are alerts and not fault diagnosis. FMA alert messages can easily be listed with the command 'fmadm list-alert' to differentiate them from faults ('fmadm list-fault').
