Purpose
What are the requirements for to implementing VSM Enhanced Replication
Scope
VTCS uses CLINKs to CLUSTER VSMs together, locally to the same Tapeplex (Replication), or remotely to a different Tapeplex (EEXPORT). Enhanced Replication increases the performance of CLINKS and changes their designation to RLINKS. Both ASYNC CLINK and RLINKS can co-exist in VSM7 running Enhanced Replication.
Note: RLINK functionality cannot be used concurrently with synchronous CLINK replication.
