Last updated on AUGUST 08, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Global Desktop - Version 4.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

There are two types of SSL certificates for Gateway as below:

1. The SSL certificate that is used by the Gateway to represent itself for incoming clients.
2. The SSL certificate that is used by the Gateway to represent itself to the SGD servers

Please kindly refer to below document for details about the two keystores of Gateway:

Keystores/Certificates Used By the SGD Gateway (Doc ID 2467845.1)

In most cases, customers only need to update the client facing certificate as described in 1. and can keep the *internal* SGD server facing certificate(as described in 2.) as default.

This article describes how to renew the client facing certificate as described in 1. when it expires.
