ACSLS: Volume Access Control Not Working For Some Servers - cl_ac_vol_access: Volume Access Denied
(Doc ID 2491843.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2022
Applies to:
Sun StorageTek Auto Cartridge Sys Lib SW (ACSLS) - Version 7.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Customer is experiencing issues with volume access control where some servers are refused access.
ACSLS does not show proper ownership of some of the tapes in the tape library.
The following error was shown in /export/home/ACSSS/log/acsss_event.log or $LOG_PATH/acsss_event.log
In this error message, we see Volume TC8321 can not be accessed by Host ID 10.137.10.XX. It seems that host id 10.137.10.XX may not be in the ../access_control/internet.addresses list of IP addresses that can use that volume.
