Goal
In a Diameter Answer message reporting an error, the Diameter Answer Result-Code (AVP 268) provides four digits per Diameter RFCs and 3GPP publications. The Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) often includes a three-digit suffix for the error Result-Code in the Error-Message AVP (281). The Goal of this article is to provide an initial reference for Diameter Error Answer messages with Result-Code DIAMETER_UNABLE_TO_DELIVER 3002 (or User-Defined 4-digit Code) based on the 3-digit suffix provided in the Error-Message AVP.
