Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the Network Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (NOAM) or System Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (SOAM) Graphical User Interface (GUI), when choosing Main Menu / Alarms & Events / View History screen, a Filter pop-up screen will appear.  The user must specify a Collection Interval but the Display Filter and Scope sections are optional.
If a selection is made in the Scope section, the appropriately scoped Alarms and Events for the Collection Interval will display on the resulting GUI screen.  If an attempt is made to Export these results to a file, the constructed file will appear and download normally but when opened will report a "Count" value of 0 and no data rows will populate.

If the Scope is not specified the result files are OK.

Changes

 Operating 8.1 DSR.
