Symptoms

When a software update is uploaded via the Browser User Interface(BUI) on ZFS Storage Appliance(ZFSSA) running OS8.8.7 or OS8.8.8 the upload will appear to succeed and begin the next stage to decompress the file, but at that time a dialog will appear:

Failed to decompress update image: <image name>

The software will fail to be loaded.

 

If the RESTful API is used to upload an image, the following error message will be returned:

Request Timeout
Server timeout waiting for the HTTP request from the client.

The software will fail to be loaded.

Changes

Attempt to load OS update on a ZFSSA running OS8.8.7 or 8.8.8.
