HSM: Large archreq Continually Fails With No volumes available (Doc ID 2659341.1)

Customer continues to see a specific very large archreq, attributed to a single file, that continues to fail with "No volumes available".    After cleanly restarting the archiver, the same archreq shows up again and fails.

The /var/opt/SUNWsamfs/trace/sam-archiverd trace file excerpt below shows the archreq getting dequeued, recreated and then strangely saying "finished" prior to showing "No volumes available":
