Symptoms

Exadata 8-socket database servers running Oracle Linux 7 (Exadata 19.x) have unnecessarily high CPU usage by database process LMHB.  The impact is more pronounced with higher number of databases.  A system affected by this issue experienced 40% CPU utilization with 120 running databases with no application workload.
