Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Session Monitor - Version 4.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

As per the Oracle Communications Session Monitor (OCSM) Installation Guide at:

https://docs.oracle.com/en/industries/communications/session-monitor/4.3/installation/

It states that SELinux must be disabled:

====
11. Disable SELinux by running the following command:

setenforce 0
sed -i -e "s/^SELINUX=.*/SELINUX=disabled/" /etc/selinux/config
====

When will OCSM support SELinux ? And in the meantime, are there any supported control mechanisms to ensure similar features as SELinux ?
