For code versions earlier than 1.1.1.109.36132 this procedure will collect only the existing drive dump

Starting with SL4000 code version 1.1.1.109.36132 it was implemented the drive management which:

- Added the ability to force a drive dump on the T10000 series drives.
- Added the ability to force IBM drive dumps.
- Added the ability to retrieve drive dumps from all drive types.




Goal

 This document will show you how to collect drive dumps, force a dump and gather drive traces in the SL4000 library.
