Goal

 The intent of this document is to provide instructions on how to setup a bootable thumb drive with Oracle Hardware Management Pack on it. This can be used to allow someone to update disk firmware on a disk that contains the system operating system or for example the Broadcom ethernet controllers where the OS doesn't support OHMP. Please note that this procedure uses Oracle Linux and will only work on x86_64 based hardware (no SPARC).
