Solaris Operating System - Version 11.4 to 11.4 [Release 11.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In this document we discuss about the basic information needed for debugging any issues in StatStore.

In case of any issues, the debug flag of StatStore can be enabled to collect more log information. That might give some clues about the issue at hand.
To enable debug flags, follow the following steps:

The log will get collected in the following file by default: /var/svc/log/system-sstore:default.log

We will need the following information to help us do the basic analysis of the problem.
1. Output of commands:
    (i)   svcs -xv
    (ii)  svcs -l sstore webui/server
    (iii) sstore list "//:class.collection//:*"
    (iv)  strings "/var/share/sstore/repo/collections/*"
2. Collect following files:
    (i)   Core files - /var/share/cores and any other directory where core file might be dumped
    (ii)  Sstore log file: /var/svc/log/system-webui-server:default.log
    (iii) Webui  log file: /var/svc/log/system-sstore:default.log
3. Collect contents of following directories:
    (i)    /usr/lib/sstore/metadata/collections
    (ii)   /usr/lib/sstore/metadata/json
    (iii)  /usr/lib/sstore/metadata/json/site/
    (iv)   /usr/lib/sstore/metadata/json/solaris/
    (v)    /usr/lib/sstore/metadata/json/thresholds/
    (vi)   /usr/lib/sstore/metadata/json/vendor/
    (vii)  /usr/lib/webui/analytics/sheets
    (viii) /usr/lib/webui/analytics/sheets/site/
    (ix)   /usr/lib/webui/analytics/sheets/solaris/
    (x)    /usr/lib/webui/analytics/sheets/vendor/
    (xi)   /usr/lib/webui/site/preferences/
    (xii)  /var/user/<username>/webui/preferences

Do note that, these information will only help us to do initial analysis. If we are not able to root cause the issue with these information, then we will need help in reproducing the issue in a lab system and debug the issue.
