SGD: Gnome-Terminal Fails to Launch Via Secure Global Desktop on Solaris 11.4 Application Server (Doc ID 2761089.1)

Symptoms

Launching a Gnome 3 gnome-terminal through SGD, on a Solaris 11.4 application server, results in the following error in the launch details dialog:

A standard xterm will launch without issue.  It is only the gnome-terminal that will exhibit this problem.

A comparison may be performed by launching an xterm through SGD, to the Solaris SPARC 11.4 application server, and attempting to launch the gnome-terminal from there.

 

Changes

 None, this is the default configuration for this object, as it is created at product installation time.
