The Virtual Signaling Transfer Point (VSTP) Does Not Allow To Configure The Globlal Title Addresses (GTA) For A Diferent Signaling Connection Control Part (SCCP) Global Title Translator (GTT) Selector: "[Error Code 50114] - GTT Selector domain does ..." (Doc ID 2765902.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 23, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 8.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The vSTP does not allow to configure the GTA for a different SCCP GTT Selector on International Telecommunication Union (ITU) domain:

[Error Code 50114] - GTT Selector domain does not match with the domain of the GTT set

Changes

GTT Set is added with ITU domain (GTT Set Name: E164_GTIN, GTT Set Domain: ITU, GTT Set Type: CDPAGTA).

1st GTT Selector is added with ITUI_S domain and previous GTT Set Name: E164_GTIN.

Attempt to add a GTT Selector with another ITU domain (e.g. ITUI domain) and previous GTT Set Name: E164_GTIN (CDPA GTT Set Name) failed with the following error:

[Error Code 50114] - GTT Selector domain does not match with the domain of the GTT set

Adding a 2nd GTT Selector works only for the same domain previously defined (ITUI_S).

GTT Set domain can only be ITU or American National Standards Institute (ANSI), it is expected that the SCCP GTT Selector allows to choose any ITU domains (e.g. ITUI, ITUI_S, ITUN, ITUN_S, ITUN24)
