Unable To Login To SGD Array After Update From 5.60.522 to 5.60.535 or Later (Not Accepting Connections) (Doc ID 2781645.1)

Symptoms

Two different major symptoms can be seen.

Symptom #1 (May be linked to 5.60.535)

At login the workspace login is displayed but after entering credentials an error is displayed "Request Failed"

$ /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella query uptime

shows all servers in the array as NOT ACCEPTING CONNECTIONS

$ /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella status

shows servers as healthy and operating

$ /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella array list

shows servers as healthy and operating

Symptom #2 (May be linked to 5.60.542)

Immediately upon upgrade to 5.60.542 (U3) and 'tarantella start'

$ /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella status

shows all servers in the array as NOT ACCEPTING CONNECTIONS

and no users can log in.

$ /opt/tarantella/bin/tarantella status --verbose

shows localhost as "not accepting connections"

but <FQDN SGD server> is accepting connections

 

Changes

 Updating from an earlier version to 5.60.535, (5.6u2), or beyond.
