User Role Assignment Issues

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer is having issues with assigning users various roles and then having the proper applications available for those roles:
Users assigned in the CN=Global Administrators members are unable to see the Administration Console in their Application list(workspace) when they login to SGD
Users assigned in Desktop applications are unable to see or execute the assigned Desktop applications as they do not show up in the User's workspace when they login to SGD
