[PCA 3.x] PCS Cluster Service (Doc ID 2861867.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

Private Cloud Appliance X9-2
Linux x86-64

Goal

Some PCA services run as part of a PCS cluster, which will run that service on the primary Management Node only.

In general, PCS will detect a failed Management Node and move the services to another Management Node as needed.

However, in some cases, services may need to be restarted manually.

If a PCS service isn't running, it can be diagnosed by checking the Failed Resource Actions entry in PCS status, and the appropriate log files for that service.

Once a start failure has been diagnosed, the PCS services can be started up again using the command.
