NFs Fail To Install And Events Show "Unknown desc = failed to pull and unpack image" (Doc ID 2866116.1)

Symptoms

Installation of newer CNE NF releases (1.84 and newer) fail to install. Review of the pods show them all in status "ImagePullBackOff", and describe of the pods show in the Events the following example:

Failed to pull image "<BASTION-HOSTNAME>:5000/occne/<IMAGE>:<VERSION>": rpc error: code = Unknown desc = failed to pull and unpack image "<BASTION-HOSTNAME>:5000/occne/<IMAGE>:<VERSION>": failed to resolve reference "<BASTION-HOSTNAME>:5000/occne/<IMAGE>:<VERSION>": failed to do request: Head "https://<BASTION-HOSTNAME:5000/v2/occne/<IMAGE>/manifests/<VERSION>": http: server gave HTTP response to HTTPS client
