Symptoms
Veritas Volume Manager is unable to identify NVMe devices on Solaris 11.4 SRU 42 or later.
Systems upgraded from previous Solaris versions will no longer log the following events during boot:
An invalid bufsize event will be logged to the nmve driver klog when an ioctl from the Veritas libvxnvme_sol.so library attempts to identify NVMe devices.
Changes
System running Oracle Solaris 11.4.42.113.1 or later.
