How to reset Solaris FMA history (Doc ID 2878613.1)

Goal

In some cases a system administrator may wish to remove or reset or clear all fault history from a given Solaris instance.

One may of course us fmadm(1M) to manage individual faults. This procedure resets all history to a 'clean' state, preserving the old history in case it is needed at a later date.
