HSM: EMC NFS Mounted Disk Archive Fails (Doc ID 2921237.1)

Symptoms

Customer configuring a new HSM setup and wanting to configure an NFS mounted disk archive volume, that's shared from his Dell EMC Data Domain NFS server.

We found we could not archive to that disk location.

The archiver -lv was showing "No volumes available" at times:


And the "samcmd D" command, which reports on disk archive capacity/available space would hang when taking a SAMreport or running the command independently.
