SDM: Less alerts are generated in 'Alarms' tab compared to the 'Events' tab (Doc ID 2921572.1)

Symptoms

Under the Fault Manager -> Events tab, there are many alerts/traps but when checked in the 'Alarms' tab, it has significantly less alerts in the SDM (Session Delivery manager). Why so?
