These instructions should only be used to update the Time Zone package. This procedure is not supported for any other Solaris package updates on MiniCluster.

Purpose

How to manually update the Time Zone Database (TZ) packages on Oracle MiniCluster S7-2

Scope

This document applies only to MiniCluster systems and is intended to be used by anyone responsible for patching Solaris on MiniCluster. Basic knowledge of MiniCluster and the Solaris Image Packaging System (IPS) is necessary.
