This document change is in reference to the ELS 7.3 Legacy Interface Reference manual only.
The BACKUP utility command incorrectly states that OPTION(ANALYZE) and
OPTION(RESTART) are supported. Support was dropped at release 7.2.
The following changes should be made to the BACKUP utility command
information.
In the command syntax block, OPTION(COPY) should be the only option shown.
Under the parameter OPTION, the two bullet items describing OPTION(ANALYZE)
and OPTION(RESTART) should be removed.
The text under the bullet item OPTION(ANALYZE) should also be removed up to
the heading JCL REQUIREMENTS.
The section titled "JCL for Running an OPTion(Analyze) BACKup" should be
removed.
The section titled "How to Restart Backup" should be removed.
Purpose
This KB is to update the BACKUP command in the ELS 7.3 Legacy Interface Reference manual only.
