Goal

The document Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Cluster on Oracle Linux KVM which documents "Best Practices for Oracle Database and Oracle Real Application Cluster on Oracle Linux KVM" states:

"Specifically, for mission-critical, production deployments, co-locating Oracle Linux KVM guests hosting instances of the same Oracle RAC database on a single Oracle Linux KVM server, is not supported. Any Oracle Linux KVM guest failover must respect this fundamental Oracle RAC instance placement rule."
