Symptoms

Patchmgr Fails "show lldp neighbor cmd failed"

A switch that is being replaced and must be isolated to upgrade or downgrade the firmware using patchmgr.

The Steps to isolate a switch is to have a single IP of the switch to be upgraded and all fabric ports must be down.

This issue can hit on versions that fall between patch_switch_22.1.8 and patch_switch_23.1.15

This bug is fixed in patch_switch_24.1.0.0.0 or higher
