Symptoms
Tapes abandoned (left in) the Cap during an Import can cause the Import to fail unexpectedly, resulting in missing configuration information.
After a clear db and a subsequent import via the GUI, the session may log out as if a restart occurred, but the library did not actually restart with no obvious errors reported. This can be determined if you can log back into the GUI immediately. Typically, it takes ~10 minutes before one can log back into the library after a restart.
