Goal

This document introduces how to create SRs for Oracle Platinum Services technical and infrastructure issues in My Oracle Support Portal.

Oracle Platinum Services is a special entitlement available to Oracle Premier Support Customers running certified configurations of Oracle Engineered Systems.  It provides 24/7 fault monitoring, accelerated response, and system patching services.  If you have Oracle Platinum Services, your certified Platinum Configurations have been flagged as Platinum and registered against the Engineered System's Hardware Support Identifier.  To ensure Platinum Service Request (SR) flagging and recognition, please ensure your Platinum Configurations remain registered against a Hardware Support Identifier.  To log a Platinum SR for an issue with a certified Platinum Configuration, you must associate a relevant Platinum OCM Configuration (System/Host) with your Service Request.
